SATURDAY 23 rd March...Buck takes the boat back to the shed it’s stored in and we are off to visit some caravan mates who live in Wallaroo...we have a look at their new home they are building...thriving little place Wallaroo..we have lunch at the Ale House which is part of the Mantra complex...we overlook the man made canals.....

       Clouds forming.....desperate for rain. ...

Canal making its way out to  the Spencer Gulf...

House and boat...  typical of canal lifestyle....

The friends  we are with choose to live around towards the back of Wallaroo as the winds are less.....so much development !
We got back to Port Broughton and are now hitched up....ready to hit the road home tomorrow! A few drops of rain falling and the temperature has dropped!

Dust cloud...bit more cleaning to be done....

  In the thick of it!

Across the planes out of Mildura....coming into a dust cloud....

Rain fell here last night ...

The pipes are rusty....these carry water across SA to a numerous amount of towns...water is so scarce...SA is the driest state  in Australia and one of the driest places world wide!
Well we have arrived in Deniliquin...830kms later buggered...we walk into town and find a Chinese restaurant open....extremely quiet the town! We celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary... Thanks for the memories...

 Towards the Main Street....

  A touch of Ireland....

Slim pickings so Chinese it is ....in these country towns it’s  not bad!
