Our catch for the day! Gar fish on the right and Tommy ruffs to the left, beautifully filleted by Dave...skillfull with a knife!

THURSDAY 14th March.....some fishing mates join us on the boat .....Dave is what I’d call a great fisherman ....followed closely by his wife Chris.....

           
                   



 Bit rough on the way back in and Chris got a shower of salt water and I was laughing at her  
expense....as I stayed relatively dry!

The bay was calm to start !

These Port Jackson sharks come into the crab nets....so we hoist them up and throw them back!  

  We also got a dozen crabs so we are off to the pub for dinner to celebrate.....thanks Dave for your time and knowledge!    

FRIDAY 15th March.....Chris and Dave left to go to their “Shack” at Point Julia...... an hour and half south of  Port Broughton on the Yorke Peninsula’s eastern side......we meant them on one of our South Aussie fishing trips a few years back....fun to catch up!

DINNER ......Gar fish in batter and salt and pepper squid!

Enough to feed 4 ...got a bit carried away!  Washed down with....with Mr Mick...Pinot Grigio
