TUESDAY 26 th......arrived at Port Broughton and set up camp.....bloody hot and we were exhausted so a dip in the pool was in order! On the Godyer Hwy..... Big wind turbines on the farmers land...making him a bit of extra cash! Coastal Hwy down to Port Broughton... WEDNESDAY 27th February..... Buck got the boat out  of storage and I cleaned the dust off the van inside.....not sure why as it will be back and then I ventured out to replenish the veggie and salad items ,walked up the street in the heat but  I called on Buck to come and get me.....bought more than I expected! THURSDAY 28th February........ Weather is not getting much cooler so we have decided to leave fishing till Friday morning....early,a few hrs on the bay and then back in before the heat gets too bad! They seem to be getting some good crabs .....pictures to follow!!!

MONDAY 25th February... On the road by 7am...a big day ahead of us....                                             Onto the Calder Fwy and bypass Bendigo and meander through the Mallee Region...desperate for  rain...passing through Sealake and came across one of the largest salt lakes in Australia...Lake Tyrell...50,500 thousand acres ...Cheetham Salt mine the salt from the lake...it’s basically salt crust except in winter when it is about 5 cm deep with water...a tourist spot and the Mallee Rally is held in the area... Not my pic but it must be a photographers paradise! Onto Mildura...stop for fuel ..a bit of lunch then onto Morgan SA...through the fruit fly quarantine...I’ve learnt over the years what I can take across the border! Arrive at Morgan just before 5 .....we’ve gain half an hour and that brings the mileage to 814 kms and I’m r...

SUNDAY 24th February.... After a big day and night on Saturday we had a lazy day at Ryan and Lees and met Chelsea,Joel and the children at Clay Pots in the SouthMelbourne markets for an early dinner... renowned for their seafood dishes...biggest prawns I’ve seen for a while we joined them ...with others...Chelsea got some chalk to keep the kids occupied...they draw over the footpath and they were suitably amused with it all! Hadley was impressed with his size after Eddison traced around him and Olive was in her own world with the colours!

WEDNESDAY 20th February...... Packing the van....tidying the yard.... THURSDAY 21st February... On the road by8.30am to Williamstown....stopped off at Ryan’s place in Seaholme...unhitched the van in the front yard...the “Hillbillies” have arrived and the neighbours are curious! FRIDAY 22nd February...the boys...Eddison and Hadley have the day off school...admin day for the teachers so Buck and I are there for them...Buck decides to take them to a practice footy match between Collingwood and Melbourne...I’m left with Olive so I walk her to her daycare mum as I have all the ingredients waiting for me back at Chelsea babes to make 20 jars of fig chutney for the school fete......phew what a job....8 hrs of my life...I won’t get back!! Chelsea said...Mum next year we’ll donate $100....I’m hearing you!! SATURDAY 23rd February... Stroll down to the beach with Lee,Ryan and the dogs ...overcast day...the Danes love it...Moose is not happy as I won’t let him be a do...
